Ace Reese, Seattle’s 2026 first-round draft pick, stepped onto the field at T-Mobile Park on Monday. The young outfield prospect took a swing through Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and talked with Mariners officials. He also worked through a batting practice on the field. Seattle nabbed Reese four days earlier with the first overall pick from Walton High School in Marietta. His advisor, Scott Boras, got together with team personnel to map out the club’s draft plans for Reese’s development.
