BYD has ended production of its cheapest electric car after weak demand prompted the move. Despite its affordability, sales remained very low all year, so the company pulled the plug. As of now, no plan has been revealed to replace it yet.
The brand then revealed a range of fresh models at a motor show. The line-up spanned a small city runabout to larger SUVs and crossovers. Attendees and media in the UK gathered in big numbers to see the new cars on display.
