Ed Harris complained at the start about his limited part in the new show in Dutton Ranch, the Yellowstone spin-off. He thought the role was useless and demanded to quit. Harris told Variety, 'with frustration Get me the f- out of here' as he exited the set. He later decided to return for Season 2 to come back for the next season. The show’s boss adjusted the plot and gave his character additional depth. That change prompted Harris decide to stay. Deadline now says he will reprise the part.
