The Scottish Government has committed a £14m funding package towards the refurbishment of Glasgow's People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Total costs for the museum scheme now top £50m. The historic site set to re-open the Glasgow museum and gardens has been locked for an extended time.
BBC and The Herald stated the venue is projected to stay closed until 2029.
