London police discovered a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the lost animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had any food or water while trembling. It withstood the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates called it an illegal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers discovered a newly described monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery occurred during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
