The PGA Tour said he wagered on championship matches. His betting took place on several Tour events throughout the season. The suspension begins immediately and lasts six months. The ban is six months.
ESPN and Golf Channel released the finding on Wednesday. Golf Digest and Golfweek published the story later on. The league indicated his bets were on Tour competitions. He cannot play or collect prize money during the ban.
