The NFL is dropping the annual Pro Bowl match after 75 years. The league is ending the on-field contest, but star players will continue to be recognized. Players will continue to be named as Pro Bowlers to earn their yearly recognition.
Player honors will remain intact despite the cancellation of the event. However, alternate players will no longer be acknowledged by the league. The ruling concludes the 75 year history of the yearly event, but top players will still receive their official Pro Bowl honors each season.
