Both Cricinfo and the ICC verified the fines issued to the players for poor conduct.
Following the ruling, Jaiswal accepted the fine but defended his actions. He stated that he was justified during the on-field clash. Speaking to Indulge Express, he stressed that India would continue to fight hard in their following games despite the recent clash.
