A federal judge turned down laws backed by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The measures let undocumented students pay lower in-state tuition at state schools. Prior court rulings also struck down Illinois’ sanctuary policies and other Pritzker actions on immigration. The Trump administration has also been winning similar cases. The Illinois Attorney General has not commented yet.
